How does the free trial work?

We offer a 30-day free trial, during which you will have access to all of our powerful features. You will be able to simulate your firm and develop a better understanding of Patafile and its relevance to your law firm in boosting efficiency. You can also work directly with a product specialist or Implementation Manager who will make sure you’re on the right track and answer any questions you might have. The trial is 100% free — NO Cash payment, M-pesa details or credit card required.

Are there any additional costs?

No! Every single one of our features comes with the Normal monthly subscription. We also include all updates, security features with your account and any Business Process Re-engineering consulting services at no extra charge.

Do you offer various payment plan options?

Yes! You can quickly get started on an easy month-to-month subscription which will be payable online via our Patafile Mpesa payment platform. We also offer discounts on quarterly, annual, and even longer subscriptions.

How do I get my firm's data into Patafile?

Depending on the level of assistance you will need from us we can recommend a team of well-trained affordable labour to help you get your valuable information on Patafile mostly during weekends when the firm is not very busy. However we believe our rigorous training and capacity building will enable you as a firm to make an easy and seamless transition to Patafile on your own.

What training options do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive training and onboarding program designed to help get your firm up and running quickly. In addition to help from our Implementation specialists, we also offer a variety of free practice management tips so you can get the most out of your experience with Patafile.

Is support included with my subscription?

Yes! We include unlimited support as part of your subscription. Our Implementation specialists are available to assist you as and when you face any challenges on phone. We also offer weekend support via email.

What happens if I don’t have an internet connection?

Patafile can’t work without an internet connection. Fortunately, there is now a wide range of options available to connect to the web: ethernet, usb, 3G, mobile phones, mobile tethering…… There are more advantages in having Patafile for your practice than inconveniences. Moreover most Kenyan law firms have internet facilities which they underutilize.

What will happen to my firm information if I deactivate my account?

If your firm chooses to cancel its Patafile subscription, you will receive a back-up file with all your information, containing both the information and all the files you might have used in the application. Once you download this file, everything will be securely deleted from our servers if you so wish.

Can I make back-up copies?

Patafile makes those copies for you. We make full copies of all your data on a daily basis so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Is Patafile really secure?

We meet all the security standards and we can assure you that all your data’s security and integrity is guaranteed. Security is part of our agreement.

Which devices can I use to access Patafile?

Besides accessing from a PC, you can access Patafile from iPhone, Android devices or any tablet such as an iPad. CHROME is the best suited browser for the ultimate Patafile experience. So we HIGHLY recommend CHROME usage.

How many updates does Patafile receive?

We offer continuous refreshing updates throughout the year including all of the modifications our users ask of us. We use the feedback of our user to make sure our development efforts are spot on and keep solving our clients pain points.
